The Guild @980 is open this Holiday Weekend!
Every Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday from 9 – 4, our doors are open. We stock artistic works, old and unique items, and all types of reclaimed and surplus building materials and house parts. Come out and see what you can find for your next project or gift idea.
This weekend, we’ll be clearing out thousands of feet of barn boards and beams. Discounts will start at 20% off all beams, barn siding, and planks we have in our yard. Many will be even further discounted.
If you haven’t visited The Guild @980, you’ll not want to miss our first Green Friday, where you can purchase reclaimed and recycled materials that otherwise would have been landfilled. We’re doing our part to protect the environment and hope you’ll support our efforts.
We always accept materials others can use. We can remove materials from your upcoming rehabilitation or restoration project. Our truck runs seven days a week and is responsive to your scheduling needs. Call 716-894-3366 if you have materials you no longer need. We can also sell special items on consignment and can quote on demolition, gutting, cleanout or restoration services.

GreenWorks Buffalo Niagara is kicking off December with a collaborative Green Drinks and tour of ReUse Action’s new home, The Guild @ 980.
Join us for an exciting event that will include heavy snacks, beverages and the company of local leaders in the green and sustainable economy.

We’re a social enterprise
- We’ve been operating a small group of for-profit social enterprises since 2011
- We continue the neighborhood-based and community-focused work we started in 2007
- We acquire & sell reclaimed & surplus materials, contract for building restorations and perform green demolitions
- We create living wage jobs in Buffalo
- We nurture job-readiness and job training programs in an area of extremely high unemployment, using paid, productive work to train and support younger people ages 17 to 30
- We grow & encourage economic development based on the reclaiming and reuse of materials otherwise “thrown away” in the landfill
- We provide high quality, low cost building materials for homeowners, landlords, contractors, developers, artists and craftsmen

- House parts new and old – doors, windows, tubs & sinks, lighting, trim, flooring
- Art and antiques in our gallery space, unusual items, art materials, decor
Going into winter, we currently have:
- Thousands of like-new doors, factory returns and surplus
- Lots of foam insulation – now’s the time to buy before winter kicks in
- Three truckloads of commercial grade ceramic tile in large lots
- Lots of barn wood – beams, joists, siding, flooring
- Most items are priced at half or less prevailing local retail price
