The Guild @980 will be hosting a Pop-Up holiday market: Saturday December 10, from Noon to Four (Facebook). This event will have a twin Pop-Up Market at The Foundry, right down the street at 298 Northampton. Both markets will feature hand-made art and craft and numerous opportunities to buy gifts. Reflections on the Demolition of 647 Lafayette

Demolition is destructive. I watched with awe as a relatively small machine so easily ripped through the large old growth timbers, hardwood flooring and red cedar siding. A building that took such tremendous care to build and represented impeccable craftmanship and the best of 20th century architectural design, so quickly was destroyed.
