Our restoration and rebuilding division serves a dual purpose in the Material ReUse industry.

Our new builds, additions, kitchen remodeling projects, and exterior restorations of porches, barns, and garages, utilize reclaimed materials and complete the cycle of material reuse.  Pictured above, Clinton’s Dish, built by ReUse Action on the Inner Harbor in Buffalo, NY, highlights the use of reclaimed hemlock siding, salvaged from a green demolition project in Angola, NY.  The floor joists from this 90 year old barn were remilled locally to give a unique, antique appearance.  All trim boards, siding, roof brackets, serving counters, and soffits were crafted from reclaimed materials.  We have a team of design/build contractors and architects that can handle the demands of projects ranging from small interior modifications, to commercial redesign and refinishing of restaurants and storefronts, to building a structure from the ground up with an emphasis on energy conservation and material reuse.

Our rebuilding team has years of experience “saving” old buildings.  We want to see old houses and in particular old barns, endure on the Western New York landscape.  This project in Machias, NY required a significant amount of jacking, shoring, and reconstruction, but the outcome has been tremendous, and this building that boasts locally milled, 12″ x 18″, hemlock timbers, will have a lasting future.
